Dwight Lee Strong was born to the parentage of Irene Blue and Tommy Lee Strong on May 22, 1952, in Fort Myers, Florida.
On Wednesday, June 25, 2025 our dearly beloved Dwight heard the sweet melodious voice of Jesus softly beckon "Come on to me".
Dwight received his formal education in the Lee County Public School System. After graduating he gained employment working for the Lee County Waste Management, until he retired. After retiring Dwight relocated to Miami, Florida where he met his loving wife, Barbara Thomas Strong. Dwight's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, fishing, working on cars, barbecuing and watching his favorite tv shows.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; and his son,Dwight Leon Strong.Dwight leaves to mourn the love of his life wife, Barbara Ann Thomas-Strong; children, Kathy Bryant, Wendell Lee Strong and Janie Johnson all of Ft. Myers, Florida; stepchildren, Angela Thomas-Torre of North Carolina, Christine Wiggins of Ft. Myers, Florida, Corey Brinson of Miami, Florida and Ray Cason of Fitzgerald, Georgia; twenty grandchildren; and a host of great grands, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends
