Nathaniel Griggs was born on July 8, 1952, to the parents, Mary Lee Griggs and Vannie Birts. Nathaniel was educated in the Miami- Dade County Public SchoolSystem, graduated from South Dade Senior High School. Where he was one of the top, if not the top player on thbasketball team. He eventually became employed with Dade
County Schools as a Supervisor in Environmental Services at Gulfstream Elementary School until he retired. Nathaniel was joined in matrimony to his wife, Wanda Griggsfor over 50 long wonderful years.
Nathaniel will also leave to cherish his memories three daughters, Shanay Monds (Teddrick), Naesha Tillman (Teiro) and Nacole Griggs; ve grandchildren, Tiara, Tedriana, Lil Monteiro, Maathew Jr. and Montana; two great-grandchildren, Ceddrick and Lamaria; one sister, Patricia Griggs Bray; two brothers, Vannie Birts and Bennie Griggs; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
